JACKIE GRONFORS - SPA THERAPIST & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Jackie shares over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry in the Muskoka area having owned and operated two other locations and worked in the hotel and resort spa industry. She realized that there was something missing with traditional spas and was convinced that there was a better way, one where people could truly enhance their lives through customized, and comprehensive services and classes that embrace regular massages, facials, exercise, finding inner peace & balance and care of the face and body. This realization led Jackie to earn her CYA-RYT 200 yoga certification in 2015 to further her commitment to her knowledge and understand of how to help others and draw together a team of like minded people who share the same passion help others as well.
MARTINA KRUGER - YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Martina has been teaching various levels of yoga since 2008. She originally completed her Yoga Teacher Training through Georgian College under the guidance of Heather Stanley in 2010. Since then Martina has gained new insight into her own teaching by both leading and experiencing many different yoga classes. Martina brings many elements of her own experiences to her practice; she has been blessed to have taken several Vipassana Meditation courses and has completed Bill Knight’s “Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction” course.
Martina’s unique style of yoga is simple, effective, and inviting for everyone. Her demeanor is peaceful, and her classes encourage others to look deep within for the answers they seek. Martina inspires others to create a union between body, mind, and soul.
LEIGHANN WILD - REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Leighann graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2015. Her practicum focused on sports massage, palliative care, pregnancy and hot stone massage in addition to wellness/relaxation and deep tissue massage.
She is excited to be building her career in the town she grew up in; to be able to help people become pain-free in order to maintain an optimum life style, de-stress and relax. Leighann feels these factors are important to good health. She brings enthusiasm to her profession with a positive outlook on life.
REBECCA CRODEN - YOGA INSTRUCTOR & FOOT REFLEXOLOGIST
Rebecca is a young woman who has a passion for the healing arts of yoga, reflexology and energy healing. In 2011, after graduating from Recreation and Leisure Services at Fanshawe College, Rebecca completed Healing Touch Therapy Level 1, and a year later, her Level 2 certificate.
After practicing Healing Touch Therapy for 3 years on family and friends, Rebecca became a Certified Foot Reflexologist through the Ontario College of Reflexology in London Ontario, and began practicing the following year in Jasper Alberta at Summit Massage Therapy and Wellness. Prior to that position she took a year off to travel Australia where she lived in an Osho Ashram for 4 months practicing daily meditations, working in the garden, and living in a community setting. In July 2016 Rebecca followed her passion of yoga and took 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training with Soul Ascension Yoga School on Galiano Island, BC. About 5 months later she took a 300-hour YTT with the same school in Uvita, Costa Rica. Rebecca 's training covered an understanding of Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Yin yoga with an additional component of Goddess Yoga training. She also participated in 10 days Shamanic Healing Intensive retreat, giving her knowledge and understanding about managing energy through the use of breath and visualization.
Rebecca makes a point to incorporate these modalities, and all aspects of yoga; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, into her classes to offer you deep healing, transformation and growth in each class.
CHRISTINE ALEXANDER - PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Christine has enjoyed practicing Pilates for many years. Christine received her Power Pilates Mat Level 1 certification in 2017 and Level 2 in 2018. Christine loves to share positive energy and hopes to see you at one of her classes!
